Theatre503 wind down…

Happy New Year!

I know it’s late to be saying that still, but its been a mad month..

2015 started with a bang – myself and three other writer/performers took over Theatre503 as part of a new event called 503Fusions – the brainchild of writer, performer and theatre maker – Karis Halsal.

It aimed to merge visuals, music and storytelling to create fragments of life in our city. It aimed. It played. It worked.

Thank you to everyone involved & thanks to all those who supported us by coming to see it.

Our reviews…….

There are a few exciting projects coming up so keep an eye out for more announcements soon..

503FusionsCrew Gemma, Nick, Dom & Tom Gemma & her trusty uke Dom & Tom & Nick sound checking lads

Theatre503 from Jan 15th-17th

I have been asked to write and perform a piece about this very city as part of Theatre503’s event 503Fusions.

As part of the piece, Nick Rogers will be bring live music and Dom Kennedy, his sound design skills. I am chuffed that these two uberly gifted cats have been able to be involved. Hope you can come and see it on one of the nights!

Four Mini Plays set in One City take you from dusk to dawn and back again. Blurring boundaries to create cutting edge new writing, our playwrights and poets turned performers will collaborate with a director and a musician to create an innovative synthesis of storytelling, spoken word, playwriting, performance and live soundscape scores. 503Fusions is a unique and experimental series of provocations to playwrights and theatre makers in which they are challenged collaborate, push the form and create fascinating fusions.

With Tommy Sissons, Deanna Rodger, Karis Halsal and myself.
